About AlFikra

Qatar National Business Competition (Al Fikra) is an educational and coaching program designed for Qatari led Start-ups and entrepreneurs, enabling them to develop business ideas that can be turned into private successful adding value businesses. The program runs over a 3-month, During this period, creative and innovative ideas are recognized, developed and supported by Qatar Development Bank and its strategic partners throughout the different stages of their development.

Target Audience (Who is it for?)
Students, Professionals and entrepreneurs with business ideas for Qatar, For Teams (3 members only) of Residents living in Qatar, a Qatari partner per team is required

The Challenge

Create a campaign promoting the business competition in a professional and fun layout that would appeal to the young Qatari youth (QDB’s main target group) and encourage them to participate.

Solution

We believe that featuring last year’s winner, a young Qatari man who submitted and won the first place would definitely encourage other people to come up with business ideas and participate. We featured an encouraging quote with the winner’s image in an attractive way. The treatment was very successful, the competition received large number of registrations and participation.
